Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GovRFP ("Service") operated by GovRFP ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GovRFP is a software-as-a-service platform that helps small businesses identify government contract opportunities, score their relevance using AI, and generate AI-assisted proposal drafts. The Service uses data from official government sources including SAM.gov and USASpending.gov.

3. Account Registration

You must register for an account to access most features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice.

Free trials are available for paid plans. If you do not cancel before the end of the trial period, you will be automatically charged for the selected plan. Payments are processed by Stripe.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or data obtained from it.
  • Use the Service to submit false or fraudulent government contract proposals.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
  • Use automated scripts to scrape or excessively query the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to generate opportunity relevance scores and proposal draft content. You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies and must be reviewed and verified by you before use. AI-generated proposal drafts are tools to assist your writing process — you are responsible for the accuracy and compliance of any proposal you submit to a government agency. GovRFP does not guarantee that any proposal will be compliant with all solicitation requirements.

7. Government Data

Opportunity data is sourced from SAM.gov and other public government sources and is provided as-is. We make reasonable efforts to ensure data accuracy and freshness but cannot guarantee completeness or timeliness. Always verify opportunity details directly on the official source before submitting a proposal.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding government-sourced public domain data) are owned by GovRFP and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload (past performance entries, notes, etc.). You grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GovRFP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of contracts, or loss of data arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that opportunity data will be complete or current.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your billing settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
